There’s no single answer, and that’s the good news: there are lots of ways your organisation can wipe more sustainably. A product might contain less plastic, be made from compostable materials, be reusable, or simply take less carbon to produce in the first place. Often it’s a mix of these. We’ll help you find the combination that fits your goals.
Yes. Wherever we describe a product as compostable, that claim is backed by the certification needed to support it. Our J-Cloth Compostable, for example, is certified to EN 13432, the European standard for compostability. If you’d like to see the certification for a particular product, just ask.
Many are. Our Tech 100 and Prem 100 are already being used to cut plastic across a range of industrial workplaces. That said, every business has its own processes, contaminants and performance needs, so the best option really depends on your setup. Get in touch and we’ll talk through the right choice for you.
Yes, and it’s something we’re careful about. Many of the products we offer are chosen specifically because they hold up in demanding, real-world use, with strong absorbency, durability and consistent cleaning alongside their sustainability benefits. We won’t put a product in front of you that can’t do the job.
Reusable microfibre cloths can be laundered and used many times, which reduces how many wipes you get through and the waste that comes with it. And if microfibre isn’t the right fit, a number of other cloths in the Harrisons Hygiene range are also reusable and washable, so there’s usually a reusable option to suit.
Not always. Once you factor in how long a product lasts, how much you use and the waste you avoid, many sustainable products work out competitive, or even cheaper, on cost-in-use.
