Harrisons is delighted to announce it is joining forces with The Hygiene Bank – a fantastic grassroots organisation dedicated to tackling hygiene poverty across the UK. We believe everyone deserves access to the essentials that support a clean and healthy life, and this initiative marks an important step in that direction.
For the next 12 months, we’ve committed to donating 15,000 wipes every month through The Hygiene Bank’s nationwide distribution network, with the support of our logistics provider, Magnum Logistics. These wipes are a practical household essential that many of us take for granted – but for those facing hygiene poverty, even basic cleaning products can be out of reach. Our goal is to help individuals and families maintain safe and hygienic living spaces, particularly during challenging times.
This new commitment builds on a successful pilot earlier this year, where we donated nearly 40,000 wipes to The Hygiene Bank’s Doncaster project. That pilot clearly showed the real-world impact of consistent access to everyday hygiene products.
The Hygiene Bank works with a wide-reaching network of community groups, schools, charities, and local services to ensure hygiene items are distributed directly to those who need them most. Their mission to fight hygiene poverty and drive lasting change aligns strongly with our values at Harrisons.
